We are excited to offer student tours in support of the educational mission of The Outsiders House Museum. The museum provides an intimate look into the characters and themes of S. E. Hinton’s classic work and film adaptation, featuring the painstakingly restored house and extensive collections.

We are excited to offer student tours in support of the educational mission of The Outsiders House Museum. The museum provides an intimate look into the characters and themes of S. E. Hinton’s classic work and film adaptation, featuring the painstakingly restored house and extensive collections.

In-person Student Tour Details:

• Our expert tour guides will provide exciting details and background on our incredible collection!
• Days of the week: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
• Times: 9 am – 3 pm with 1-hour time slots.
• Tours should be booked 2 weeks in advance if possible.
• Large Group?  Contact us to work out the logistics!  Generally, one busload of kids at a time.

For groups of 15 or fewer, we may combine you with another small group.

• Cost is $10/person. A special thanks to The Arvest Foundation for sponsoring our student tour program.

Virtual Tour Details:

• Our expert tour guide walks your students through a virtual Outsiders House!
• Behind-the-scenes stories and history of the novel and movie. 
• Interactive!   Ask questions in real-time.
• The live tour can be shared among multiple classrooms. 
• Conducted via Zoom
• The cost is $195 for the one-time live virtual tour.
